What is the School Advisory Council?
St. Patrick of Heatherdowns School Advisory Council is an advisory team to the Pastor and Principal committed to the development of the students’ self-discipline, courtesy, and social conscience; striving for academic excellence; nurturing the education of the whole child through the cooperation of the administration, teachers and parents; while preserving and building our Catholic faith through the teaching of doctrine and tradition.
What is the Council doing?
St. Patrick of Heatherdowns is known for its proven results in preparing our students for success at the High School of their choice. We must continue to find new ways to challenge our students to grow in Christ-centered faith, to excel in learning, to become better-rounded balanced young people, and to understand and embrace our Christian cornerstone of “service to our fellow man”.
There are eight standing committees that Members actively participate on and advise the administration.
